We are located in the unique and historic Haliburton Highlands and we pride ourselves in providing a truly community based treatment centre that Haliburton County needs and deserves.
Expert Chiropractic Care in Haliburton
Our approach to your care is entirely hands-on! We believe that the best results are achieved with traditional Chiropractic adjustments which can be complimented, depending on the diagnosis, by state of the art rehabilitation equipment. Your first appointment will consist of a thorough exam and review of your health history to determine the precise diagnosis of your injury or complaint. A plan of treatment will then be customized to accurately and effectively get you on the road to recovery. Your first treatment will start on that day!
Our clinic is registered with Veterans Affairs Canada, WSIB for work-related injuries, and HCAI for all motor vehicle accident claims. If you have a benefit plan through an employer, we will be happy to submit the claim after each treatment for your reimbursement.

Dr. Roshan Ahmad, DC
Associate Chiropractor
Dr. Roshan graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1996, following her undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto. She also has accreditation from the Acupuncture Council of Ontario.
Dr. Katie Hammerschmidt, B.SC, DC
Owner / Chiropractor
Dr. Katie graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1994, following her undergraduate studies at the University of Western Ontario in London. She also has accreditation from the Acupuncture Council of Ontario.
Dr. Brendan Rae, B.SC. DC
Associate Chiropractor
Dr. Brendan graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2017, following his undergraduate studies at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology.

The use of red and infrared laser light is a an excellent treatment for acute injuries. Laser will accelerate healing and decrease inflammation very gently while you relax for 30 minutes.
Acupuncture
Traditional Chinese acupuncture methods are used to treat unique conditions that may require a more subtle approach
IFC Muscle Stimulation
This classic technology has been used for addressing muscle injury and can be very helpful with long standing muscle tension as well as acute muscle spasm.
Custom Orthotics
We exclusively use Orthotica Labs Canada for the most accurate 3D scanning of your feet in order to create the best fit for your orthotics.
Yoga studio / Flex Space
Our beautiful open space boasts heated cork floors, plenty of natural light and a private entrance and washroom. We have many instructors offering a variety of classes throughout the week from yoga & Pilates to seniors fitness, breath work & meditation.
